Andres Marin

Andres grew up in Ibague, Colombia. He moved to the United States six years ago in pursuit of the AMGA or IFMGA certification. He is part of the Mesa County Search and Rescue Technical and Ground Rescue Team with more than 20 missions completed. He has been guiding in the US and Colombia for eight years and is an RMI senior guide. Andres is the first Colombian to climb a 5.12+ Off-width and also has the speed record ascent of the Colorado National Monument. Andres is a sponsored athlete by Asolo, Lowe Alpine, Blue Water Ropes, 5.10 Shoes, Petzl.
