Cara MachacekCara grew up hiking and skiing in the Sawtooth mountains of Idaho and first fell in love with mountaineering on a NOLS expedition in the Indian Himalaya. Since finishing a degree in biochemistry, she's spent as much time as possible climbing and skiing throughout the western U.S. and South America. When she's not climbing, she can be often be found on the ski slopes or on a long run with her dog..
