Corey was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He grew up and lives in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. His passion for the outdoors started as a child backpacking with his uncle in the mountains of Northern Idaho. When not guiding, Corey spends his free time backpacking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and cycling.
