Jon Shea

Jon Shea

Jon grew up near Boston getting his first exposure to mountains and climbing in northern New England. He headed west for college and graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Science from Willamette University. Between, and often during, classes Jon honed his climbing skills throughout the Northwest before starting with RMI. Jon has been on a number of Alaskan and international expeditions and enjoys the history and culture of his destinations as much as the climbs themselves. Jon is also an avid runner having competed in 2 marathons and 4 ultra marathons placing 9th at the 2007 USATF 50 mile national championships. Jon fills in the winter gaps in guiding working in the construction industry.
