Ward Miller

Having grown up in Ohio, Ward's love for the mountains was not discovered until a family trip to Alaska at age 16.  Shortly thereafter he moved "out West" to be in the mountains and earn a dual degree in Environmental Science/Spanish at Willamette University.  More recently he received his MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

He began guiding in 1998 and has worked with RMI since 2001.  His passion for climbing has taken him on extensive domestic climbing trips and several international expeditions.  Previously he spent the winter as a professional ski patroller at Stevens Pass, but now works as an investment banker in Bulgaria.
