Photo Contest Winner - February 2010

Sam Stampfer of Brookline, MA, has won the February 2010 RMI Photo Contest, $250 credit towards any RMI program and is automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing in December 2010. Congratulations!

Grand Prize - Announced December 2010

Each winner will be automatically entered into the final photo showdown. Finalists will be posted on our website after the October 2010 e-newsletter and you will have a chance to vote on the winner! Winner receives a $750 RMI program credit!

HOW TO ENTER: (please read the fine print below)

  1. Find a picture from an RMI climb anywhere around the world that falls into one of three categories:*
    • Mountain Humor
    • Landscape / Scenic
    • Action
  2. Email that one (1) picture to info@rmiguides.com with the following information:**
    • Full Name
    • Address
    • Phone Number
    • When and where it was taken (any other photography information is appreciated, however not necessary)
  3. Watch the next RMI eNewsletter for the winner!***

* Contest is limited to one entry per person per issue. Individual winners may not re-submit for consideration during the same contest period.

** All entries must be digital (you may convert print or slides to digital format). Digital entries must be saved as normal quality JPEG's with a file size no larger than 3 MB and must be identified in the same manner described above. Files larger than 3 MB should be saved on CD and mailed to Rainer Mountaineering, Inc. PO Box Q Ashford WA 98304. Limit one entry per person throughout the entire contest. Entries submitted by e-mail will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entries and photographs will not be returned or acknowledged. If you fail to provide information requested with the photo, RMI reserves the right to discard that entry.

*** All entries will be judged on three categories: humor,  landscape, and action. Monthly winners will be selected within ten (10) days after the end of the contest. The Grand Prize winner will be determined by judging the entries of the six (6) finalists. The Grand Prize winner will be selected on or about December 15, 2010. All winners will be notified by mail, phone, or e-mail. Judging will be conducted by a panel of qualified judges designated by RMI. The decisions of the judging panel are final on all matters relating to the contest.

**** Each of the six (6) finalists will receive a $250 credit to be used towards any RMI program. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive $750 towards any RMI program of there choice. RMI reserves the right to substitute prize for one of equal or greater value.
