Hola from Argentina. All is well here in South America. We are currently in Los Penitentes at 9,000´ (this is the starting point of the climb). Today we went for a short hike to help with our acclimatization and spent a few hours packing our gear and trying to make things (Mule-proof), in order to get our climbing things and food safely to basecamp. Tonight we well have our last restuarant meal, and we will eat like kings. Tomorrow we will begin with the first leg of our journey with a hike of five to six hours, arriving at our first trekking camp, Pampa de Lenos. Everyone is doing well and we are excited for our adventure, we will check in again from base camp.

We arrived here three days ago and have been resting and preparing for our climb. Yesterday we did a carry to Camp 1 at 16,000. We will move to Camp 1 in the next few days. We will check in again in a few days.

Hello. We are in Penitentes now, just got back. All went well, no one summitted though. We made an attempt on Wednesday but the conditions weren´t good, so we headed out. No one was has reached the summit in the last week because of high winds and snow. We will return to Mendoza today.
