Hello from the Kahiltna Glacier! We woke to frigid temperatures on our first morning, with the temperatures reaching negative 25 F. Thankfully the sun came out to play and things quickly warmed up for us. We enjoyed our first day exploring the SE fork of the Kahiltna Glacier.

Dylan played an amazing game today and everyone was asking about you. He is taking his man of the house role very seriously. Ellie keeps trying to text you despite repeated reminders that you won’t get them, but she misses you so much. Bad news…we accidentally sold your bike at the yard sale today. We will buy you a shiny new one at Walmart, so no worries. We are counting the days and can’t wait til you get home. Phillies lost today 7-1.
