Chris Bamer
Chris started guiding for RMI in 2004. He began climbing early in college and sometimes wonders if his pursuits fit the clinical definition of an addiction. In addition to guiding, Chris works as a middle school science teacher – a profession that seems to require just as much savvy and stamina. He is a native to Washington State and lives in the Cascade foothills with his wife and two-year-old daughter. When not climbing or teaching, Chris can be found playing with Crayons, reading picture books, and frequenting the local zoo. Oh yeah, and he is seeking the AMGA Alpine Guide certification.

- Numerous alpine ascents in the Pacific Northwest including: Mount Adams, Mount Shuksan, Glacier Peak, Mount Baker, Mount Stuart, Forbidden Peak, Eldorado Peak, South Early Winter Spires, Colchuck Peak, Prussik Peak, Colchuck Balanced Rock, Mount Hood, Elephant's Perch, and Bugaboo Spire
