RMI and SheJumps Partner on a Women’s Only Mt. Baker Ski Mountaineering Program
SheJumps is a nonprofit founded with a mission to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities. Our programs have impacted thousands of women across the country by offering resources to learn technical skills and meet new people to go on adventures with. We work to ensure the next generation of SheJumps has the same opportunities and are raising money to fund the Wild Skills program! Wild Skills is a FREE day camp for girls under 18 to learn basic outdoor skills: compass & navigation, basic first aid, Leave No Trace/the 10 Essentials, & rock climbing. Last year we hosted our Wild Skills events in Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, Boise and Park City, and it was a huge success. We are raising money to make Wild Skills available for girls in more communities.
