RMI's Ski Programs are exciting ski adventures in some of the world's legendary backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering destinations. Our Intro to Alpine Ski Touring is ideal for skiers exploring the sport of backcountry skiing and interested in learning the skills to go beyond the ski resort. Our Intro to Ski Mountaineering caters to experienced backcountry skiers with a desire to combine skiing and mountaineering by learning the technical skills to navigate big mountain terrain on skis.

From the slopes of Mt. Rainier - the ideal classroom for backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering with it's world record snow falls, huge vertical relief, and wide variety of terrain - to classic ski mountaineering destinations in the remote regions of the world, RMI's ski programs are a collection of exciting ski mountaineering adventures.

All ski programs require solid intermediate or advanced ski skills - the ability to comfortably ski ungroomed terrain in ski areas.
