Clint Helander

Clint Helander

Clint began working for RMI in 2006. Born and raised in Washington, he moved up to Alaska after graduating high school and became infatuated with mountains.  He is currently pursuing a degree in journalism at the University of Alaska in Anchorage. When he's not in school or working at the local Alaskan climbing shop, he is usually exploring  or looking for adventure on steep terrain. The mountains define his life and he enjoys the challenges that go along with them. Whether it be kayaking in Prince William Sound, Ice climbing in Valdez, or an exposed bivouac in a snowstorm, Clint can be found with a good sense of humor and a smile on his face.
