Kate grew up in Boston and Northern California, and began guiding in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Since graduating from college, she has worked as an ice-climbing guide in Patagonia and led adventure travel trips in Costa Rica, Belize and Hawaii. This is her third year with RMI.

When not guiding, Kate enjoys running, surfing and climbing. During the off-season, she attends Tufts Medical School.
