CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION

The RMI Office is an integral part of everyday operations for expeditions, whether it be for climbs in our own backyard or two-week expeditions in South America. Our main goals are to provide excellent customer service and to support our climbers and guides wherever they are in the world. We are very proud of the high level of customer service provided by the RMI Office Team. Our climbers love our guides once they get to meet them, but the first contact comes from the office, and it is important that we start their adventure off right!
In addition to excellent customer service skills, typical work for this position includes:
- Support to customers by responding to questions, general inquiries, and customer feedback
- Reviewing climber registration
- Provide customers with information on climbs, equipment, and local area information
- Perform guest check-in
- Produce forms and certificates as needed for programs
- Communicate with park services regarding program registration
- Processes payments
- Performs unique tasks as requested
BRING YOUR EXPERTISE AND SENSE OF ADVENTURE:
Here are some skills that we look for in our RMI Office Team:
- Previous customer service experience
- Familiar with backpacking/mountaineering/skiing skills and equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to anticipate needs and work proactively
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
