Joe Crawford

Joe found climbing while studying economics at the University of Oregon. He was captivated by mountaineering and rock climbing in the Cascades and spent every free moment climbing, even squeezing Mount Hood summits on overnight trips between afternoon and morning classes. Joe moved to California upon graduation in 2011 to guide climbers on Mount Shasta. In 2016 Joe relocated to June Lake, CA in the Eastern Sierra Nevada and spent 8 years guiding, teaching and climbing the best alpine rock in the world. Joe now spends his winters in Salt Lake City, where he is a staff trainer and private instructor at Deer Valley Resort. When he's not in mountain boots, ski boots or climbing shoes, you can bet that he's rolling around on his inline skates, dreaming of ski season.
