Layne Peters
Layne grew up in Eastern Washington and discovered his love for the outdoors during college, where he was first introduced to rock climbing, skiing, and mountaineering. Since then, he’s traveled extensively across the U.S. and abroad, visiting over 20 countries to climb and ski. He is based in Montana outside of the summer guide season, Layne is passionate about helping others connect with the outdoors and grow through challenges and believes in the power of shared adventure to build resilience, confidence, and lasting impact. His approach is shaped by a diverse background that includes youth outdoor programs, youth ministry, social work, and community development, alongside years of experience guiding for companies like RMI and CTSS.
