With RMI

About

Dan grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, always exploring the wonderful creeks and forests of the Southeast. Inevitably along the way he discovered the amazing sandstone rock climbing that abounds in the region. He followed the love of rock climbing down the road to Sewanee, the University of the South, where he earned his degree in Geology (the closest thing to studying rock climbing he could find) and spent as much time as he could running, biking, climbing, and more all around the woods. After graduating in 2020, he took off to Utah where he spent some years rock climbing and backcountry skiing all over the west, from the Front Range to the Sierras and as many places in between that he could manage.

During the off-season, Dan enjoys fishing on the river, bike riding and camping around southern Utah and back home in Tennessee with close friends. When winter comes around again, he heads back to northern Utah where he works ski patrol for Powder Mountain in Eden, Utah. Dan is incredibly excited to join you on your RMI adventure and welcomes all sorts of questions and stories shared along the way.
