About

Hannah was born and raised in the midwestern US where she discovered her love of endurance sports through competitive running and triathlon. Her first experience in a world above 1700 feet was when she visited the University of Colorado Boulder as an incoming freshman. At CU, Hannah studied mechanical engineering, raced as a member of the US triathlon team, and fell in love with exploring the mountains. Mountaineering became way more interesting than sitting at a desk, so after graduating, Hannah headed out in her van and began exploring the mountains of the western US. After learning to ski in the backcountry, she found the best ways to be in the mountains all year round and began chasing big ski lines in Colorado. Hannah launched her guiding career in 2020, leading canoeing and backpacking trips. She ventured to North Carolina and led wilderness therapy excursions in the Smoky Mountains for a year. Yearning to get back to chasing high peaks, Hannah returned to Colorado as a guide in Rocky Mountain National Park and a ski instructor on Eldora Mountain. When she is not working, you can find her on skis, climbing up big couloirs, or running around in the woods. She is incredibly passionate about sharing her love and joy for the mountains with others.

Best part of my Job

The best part of my job is getting to spend time in the mountains with like-minded people. I love getting to experience people pushing themselves farther than they thought possible.

Off Season Activities

During the off-season, I like traveling around and skiing and running in new places.

Why RMI?

I hope clients are able to feel comfortable being themselves when climbing with me. I wish that everyone can experience what it feels like to feel free in the mountains. When climbing with RMI, I hope our clients know that we will do everything we can to help them succeed in the safest way possible.
