With RMI
Hannah grew up in sleepy Golden, CO, with backdoor access to extensive trail systems that fueled her insatiable desire to play in the mountains. She grew up skiing, trail running, and biking, dreaming of making a career around her love for the outdoors. Hannah graduated from Colorado School of the Mines with a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering, working in engineering and investment banking for ~4 years before changing career paths to pursue her passions in the outdoors. She now works as a ski patroller at Telluride in the winter and a mountain guide during the summer.
When she’s not guiding, you can find her running big miles, finding any patch of snow to ski, climbing, mountain biking, traveling, and dreaming of new objectives in the mountains.

Mountaineering
The Easton Glacier on Mount Baker offers a welcoming introduction to glaciated mountaineering on one of the Pacific Northwest’s most recognizable volcanoes. Approached from the south side of the mountain, the route follows moderately angled glaciers through intricate crevasse fields to a broad summit with expansive views across the Cascade Range.
This three-day program is intentionally structured to balance instruction and experience. A full day of mountaineering training is included to develop foundational skills such as glacier travel, rope team movement, and on-mountain self-care, followed by time applying those skills in real terrain. Mount Baker’s moderate elevation and reliable snow conditions create an ideal learning environment without the added stress of higher altitude objectives.
Designed for climbers in strong physical condition, the Easton Glacier is appropriate for those new to glaciated travel as well as experienced climbers seeking a straightforward ascent of a Northwest classic. The route’s moderate angle, scenic setting, and instructional focus make it a rewarding introduction to alpine climbing and a logical preparatory step toward Mount Rainier and similar peaks.
