About

Jack grew up in northern Illinois, and spent his formative years ski racing around the Midwest and escaping the the nearby hills to explore. After high school, he headed to Montana state university in Bozeman studying the environmental sciences. When school permitted, Jack headed to the alpine to develop his mountain skills through climbing in the summer and ski touring for as long as there was snow. Jacks passion lies in teaching, and making the outdoors accessible to all who want to share these experiences.
