About

Kat is an outdoorsy extrovert who thrives on bringing energy and sharing adventures. Her passion is helping others to reach their goals. Kat started her career guiding outdoor rock and ice climbing around the northeast US. She also frequently travels to gain experience in new terrains, guiding internationally in New Zealand, Peru, and more. Her dream is to become an IFMGA guide to be able to share the mountains with people all over the world.

Any activity outdoors brings joy, but her favorite days are spent in the mountains on snowy peaks and glaciers in the high alpine sharing summits with others. When not in the mountains, Kat enjoys creative crafts, playing guitar and video games. She looks forward to meeting you on a future adventure!

Best part of my Job

Sharing the mountains with others. Seeing climber’s wonder and excitement when the sun rises on the upper mountain to majestic landscapes, supporting climbers as they try hard to achieve a dream, and the teamwork shared in the guide teams to make an ascent happen. “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”

Off Season Activities

Ice climbing, Coaching/Personal Training, Family Time, Game Nights with Friends

Why RMI?
