About

Originally from upstate New York, Mike grew up playing various sports, hunting and fishing and participating in Boy Scouts. An avid runner, Mike has been racing in long distance events since early high school. After graduating, Mike joined the Marine Corps where he discovered mountaineering while stationed on the west coast. Now residing in Colorado, Mike climbs, skis, and runs as much as possible while working to advance his guiding career through professional development courses.

Best part of my Job

I really enjoy providing folks with the opportunity to experience the mountains in all its forms. It’s very rewarding to help facilitate people chasing their goals and pushing their boundaries.

Off Season Activities

I enjoy a good jog, now and then.

Why RMI?

I hope clients who climb with me feel like they have structured and supportive guidance in their development as climbers; that they feel safe and encouraged to push their limits in the mountains.
