About

Ray spent his childhood growing up in the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming. From fishing, hunting, and herding sheep to climbing, biking, and skiing; the mountains have shaped who he is today. As a high schooler he spent a year as an exchange student in Patagonia Argentina surfing, climbing, skiing, and drinking mate. He studied psychology and recreation and outdoor education at college in Gunnison, Colorado where he became a member of the Western Mountain Rescue team and a lead backcountry ski, ice, rock, and backpacking guide.
