Cody grew up in rural McCall, Idaho skiing, playing team sports, and exploring the surrounding outdoors. He left Idaho to earn a BS in Geology at the University of Washington. While pursuing his degree, Cody starting climbing and immediately got hooked. He has spent the majority of his free time since graduating traveling and climbing around the western United States.
Most recently he spent a winter in Bozeman, Montana climbing ice in Hyalite Canyon. When not climbing Cody enjoys carpentry, camping, skiing, and biking.
