Erika Birkeland
Erika was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, where she developed a love for the outdoors at an early age. In high school, she spent her weekends and summers exploring the mountains of Southwest Montana on skis and on foot. These adventures laid the foundation for her current skiing, climbing, and trail running pursuits. Erika remains based out of Bozeman, where she recently finished her degrees in English and Geography at Montana State University. In the winter, she can be found ski patrolling at Bridger Bowl Ski Area, teaching avalanche classes, and skiing as many days as possible.
