At 7:25 AM, RMI Guide Garrett Stevens and the Four Day Summit Climb team radioed from the top of Disappointment Cleaver on their descent from the summit of Mt Rainier.  Garrett reported warm temperatures and a light wind making for a perfect, bluebird day.  We look forward to greeting the team in Ashford this afternoon.

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Summit Climb Teams on Top!

The Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by RMI Guides Mike Walter & Solveig Waterfall reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning.  Just after 7 am the teams were approaching the top of Disappointment Cleaver on their descent. 
They will return to Camp Muir for a short break before continuing to Paradise later today.

Mt. Rainier: Teams on the Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Mike Haugen along with the Expedition Skills Seminar - Paradise led by Geoff Schellens reached the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning.  As of 7 am both teams were on their descent and approaching the top of Disappointment Cleaver en route back to Camp Muir.
Conditions are beautiful this morning with warm temperatures and light winds reported from Camp Muir (10,080’).

Mt. Rainier: July 10th Summit!

The RMI Four Day Summit Climbs led by RMI Guides Jake Beren and Zeb Blais reached the top of Mt. Rainier early this morning.  At 7:15 the teams were descending Disappointment Cleaver en route back to Camp Muir.  The teams are doing well and enjoying the blue skies and calm weather.

The Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons led by RMI Guide Walter Hailes reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning via the Emmons Glacier route.  The team has descended to Camp Schurman where they will spend the night before returning to Ashford tomorrow.

Mt. Rainier: July 9th - Summit!

Our Four and Five Day Summit Climbs led by RMI Guides Mike Haugen and Garret Stevens were just leaving the crater rim at 7:19 am.  The teams have had a blue bird morning with clear skies, great views and light winds. We expect the teams back at Rainier Base Camp this afternoon.

Mt. Rainier: July 8th - SUMMIT!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Brent Okita reached the summit of Mt. Rainier at about 6:40am today.  Brent reported a beautiful morning with clear skies and calm winds of 10 – 15 mph.  The team is doing well and have started their descent to Camp Muir.

Tyler Jones and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Kautz Team also reached the summit of Mt. Rainier later in the morning.  The team had a great climb and have started their descent back to their high camp on the Wilson Glacier.

The Mount Rainier Four Day and Five Day Summit Climbs, led by Seth Waterfall and Casey Grom, reached the summit this morning with clear skies, warm temperaturess and winds ranging from 5-20 mph.  Both teams began their descent from the crater rim at 7:15 a.m.

Mt. Rainier: July 6th Update

Summit! The Mount Rainier Four Day Summit Climb, led by Solveig Waterfall, reached the summit this morning.  The weather was very warm and winds were between 15 and 30 mph.  The team began their descent from the crater rim just before 7 a.m.

The Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by RMI Guides Seth Waterfall and Solveig Waterfall reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning.  Seth reported clear skies above with moderate winds and cool temperature.  There is a cloud deck below at approximately 7,500’.  The teams began their descent from the crater rim at 7 am en route to Camp Muir.  The teams will continue their descent to Paradise and we look forward to seeing them at Rainier BaseCamp later today.
