Gloria grew up among the waves, seals, and sands of Kodiak, Alaska. It was the island life that first sparked her passion for the outdoors and after high school she found herself expanding her world and exploring the mountains and rivers of Missoula, Montana. Working for the university's Outdoor Program as a rock climbing instructor she discovered how much she enjoyed sharing her love for adventure and getting others excited to be outside. After graduating, she pursued her love for people and the outdoors by becoming a mountaineering guide in southeast Alaska. In 2016 she transitioned to RMI and has been greatly enjoying the new office view. When she's not at work, Gloria can be found staring off at distant peaks, pursuing her favorite cookbooks for the next best meal, making silly birthday cards, and spending as much time on her skis as she can manage.
