Mt Rainier: Hedreen, Crawford & Team Enjoy an Early Morning on the Summit

The Four Day climb led by RMI guides George Hedreen and Joe Crawford reached the summit of Mt Rainier this morning around 6am. They reported cool temperatures, but a lovely morning. They are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir and will be returning to Ashford this afternoon. 

Great work up there, team!

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Climb Turns at 13,100’

The Four Day Climb led by Joe Hoch and Leif Bergstrom reached approximately 13,100 feet before deciding to turn around due to conditions on the climbing route. The team is now descending toward Camp Muir and is expected back in the early afternoon.

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Climb Teams Enjoy Beautiful Day

The Four Day Climb August 16 - 19 led by RMI Guides Henry Coppolillo and Jackson Breen reached the summit this morning and stood on Columbia Crest.  It was a clear, calm and perfect day with views all the way to Mt Jefferson.  The teams started down from the crater rim around 7 am. Once back at Camp Muir they will repack and continue down to Paradise.

Mt. Rainier: Jiricko & Paradise Seminar Team Reach Summit

The Expedition Skills Seminar - Paradise led by RMI Guide Calvin Jiricko concluded their week of training by standing on the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning.  The team spent several days on the lower slopes of Mt. Rainier with instruction and training, enjoying a wilderness experience and learning glacier travel skills. Yesterday the team bumped their gear to Camp Muir to launch for their summit attempt.  After enjoying some time in the crater their started their descent around 7 am.  The team will continue down to Paradise later this afternoon and conclude their program later today with a bit of celebration.

Mt. Rainier: RMI Teams Reach Summit

RMI Guide Avery Stolte and the Four Day Climb August 15 - 18 reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. It is a beauitful day with clear skies and the team enjoyed some time in the summit crater before starting their descent to Camp Muir. Once back at Camp Muir the team will get a quick break before descending the final 4,500' to Paradise.

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Climb Teams led by Traylor and Hedreen Top Out

The Four Day Climb August 14 - 17 led by RMI Guides Sam Traylor and George Hedreen reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. They were above the clouds with a light wind and enjoyed some time in the summit crater.  They started their descent from the crater rim around 7 am headed for Camp Muir. Once back at camp they will have a short break to repack and then continue down to Paradise.  Their program will conclude this afternoon at Rainier BaseCamp with a summit celebration.

Mt. Rainier: Sinapius & Ritterson’s Team Reach Summit

The Four Day Climb August 13 - 16 led by RMI Guides Nick Sinapius & Jack Ritterson reached the summit around 6:30 am today. They had overcast skies and a steady wind of 10-20 mph keeping things cool.  The team started their descent from the crater rim shortly before 8 am.  Once back at Camp Muir the climbers will take a quick break and repack their gear, then descend the remaining 4.5 miles to Paradise.

Mt. Rainier: Five Day Teams Enjoy Summit Success

The Five-Day climbs led by Jackson Breen and Will Ambler summitted Mt. Rainier around 7:10 am this morning. They reported clear skies above with clouds building around them, so they opted for a touch and go on top to keep the team moving. They'll return to Camp Muir and stay one more night before returning to Ashford.

Mt. Rainier: Cifelli & Five Day Team Reaches Summit

The Five Day Private Climb led by RMI Guide Dominic Cifelli reached the summit of Mt. Raineir today with 100% of their team.  It's a beauiful day on the mountain with clear skies and cool temperatures.  The team will return to Camp Muir and spend another night on the mountain. They may do a little training or just enjoy the views.  Tomorrow they will descend to Paradise and conclude their program.

They enjoyed some time in the crater before starting their descent. Once back at Camp Muir they will pack up and continue downhill to Paradise.
