Mt Rainier: Custom Four Day Climb Makes it to the Summit

The custom Four Day climb led by RMI guide Eric Frank made it to the summit this morning. They were leaving the crater around 7am on their descent back to Camp Muir. They will return to Ashford this afternoon.

Mt Rainier: Five-Day Climb Unable to Summit Due to Route Conditions

The Five-Day climb led by RMI guide Tom Skoog was unable to climb the route due to deteriorating conditions. Instead, they enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at Ingraham Flats. They are back at Camp Muir and will start their descent back to Paradise this morning.

Mt Rainier: Four Day Climb Reaches the Summit

RMI's four-day climb led by guide Will Ambler made it to the summit of Mt Rainier this morning around 6:30am! They reported high winds but blue skies. They left the crater around 7:15am and are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir. They will return to Ashford this afternoon.

Mt. Rainier: Five Day Team Takes It to the Top!

RMI’s Five Day Climb took advantage of the first of two potential summit opportunities and successfully reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. A warm morning and light breeze on the upper Disappointment Cleaver had the team descending from the crater at 6:45 a.m. They’re currently making their way back to Camp Muir, where they’ll enjoy one final night on the mountain before returning to Ashford tomorrow.

Mt Rainier: Four Day Climb Enjoys Summit Sucess

RMI's four-day climb led by guides Joe Hoch and Felipe Guarderas reached the summit of Mt Rainier this morning around 6:20am. They reported sunshine with a light breeze and a trace of new snow. They are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir and will return to Ashford this afternoon.

Mt Rainier: Five Day Climb Turns due to High Winds

The five-day climb led by RMI guide Ray Holt used their second night at Camp Muir to attempt to summit Mt Rainier. Due to high winds, they turned around at the top of the Disappointment Cleaver.

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Teams Enjoy Clear Skies for their Summit Day

Climbers were greeted with clear skies and calm winds as they made a successful ascent of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams reached the summit under beautiful conditions, led by RMI Guides Tom Skoog and Felipe Guarderas.

After spending time on the summit, the teams have begun their descent and will return to Camp Muir before continuing down to Paradise later today.

Congratulations to all of today's climbers and guides on a successful summit day!
