The Four Day Climb led by Nikki Champion turned at the top of the Cleaver this morning due to high winds. They'll descend from Camp Muir around 9am and return back to Basecamp in Ashford this afternoon.

The Four-Day climb led by RMI guides Jackson Breen and George Hedreen reached the summit of Mt Rainier this morning around 5:45am. They reported beautiful weather and a lovely morning to stand on top. They are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir and will return to Ashford this afternoon.

The four-day climbing teams, led by Nikki Champion and Mike Bennett, reached the crater rim just before 7:20 a.m. this morning. After a brief touch-and-go at the summit, the team reported clear skies and a windy ascent.
The teams are now descending to Camp Muir, where they will reset, pack their gear, and continue down to the trailhead. They are expected to return to Ashford later this afternoon, concluding a successful four-day climb.
Way to go, climbers!

The Four Day climb led by RMI guides Nikki Champion and Joe Crawford attempted to summit this morning. Shortly after leaving Camp Muir, they experienced lightening which led to them turning around. The lightning continued until 4am. They reported a dark cloud deck below, and a cloud cap above. They enjoyed a sunrise hike to Muir Peak instead. They will descend to Paradise this morning and be back in Ashford this afternoon.

The Four Day Climb teams led by Mike King and Mike Bennett reached the summit of Mt. Rainier at around 7:15 am this morning.
The teams endured high winds up top, so they touched the top and started their descent back downhill after a quick break.
They'll make the journey back to Camp Muir, down to Paradise, and hop on a quick shuttle ride back to Ashford by the evening.

RMI's four-day climb led by guides Dan May and Calvin Jiricko made it to the summit this morning around 7:40am. They reported a nice morning although a bit breezy. They are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir, and they will return to Ashford this afternoon.

The Four Day Climb teams June 29 - 2 July led by RMI Guides Dustin Wittmier & George Hedreen reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today after 6 am. The teams enjoyed some time in the crater, crossing to the true summit, before beginning their descent from the crater rim. The teams will return to Camp Muir for a short break before continuing down to Paradise later today. They will conclude their program with a short ceremony later today.

The Four Day Climb June 22 - 25 reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today led by RMI Guide Ben Ammon. The climbers reached the crater rim around 6:15 am this morning and enjoyed a bit of time in the crater before starting their descent. The team will take a short break at Camp Muir before continuing down to Paradise.

Around 6:45am this morning, RMI's four-day climb led by guide Joe Hoch made it to the summit of Mt. Rainier. The team reported good conditions and are on their descent back to Camp Muir. They will be back in Ashford this afternoon.

The Four Day Climb June 14 - 17 led by RMI Guides Joe Hoch and Jess Wedel were turned around by high winds at 10,300'. The telemetry at Camp Muir is showing wind gusts up to 48 mph. The teams returned to Camp Muir and enjoyed a bit of rest and perhaps a nice sunrise. They plan to descend from Camp Muir around 9:30 am. We look forward to seeing them at Rainier BaseCamp this afternoon.


My husband is Alex Fagen. My son is Brandon Fagen. Is this the right expedition? Did they have to turn around?
