Mt. Baker: Skoog and Team Summit Easton Glacier

Friday, July 11, 2025 12:53pm PDT

After waiting for the weather to clear for a few hours, we completed our climbing school. With spirits high and a clearing trend in the forecast, we decided to go for a sunset climb. We were rewarded with stunning views of the north cascades and evening light over the Pacific Ocean. All climbers reached the summit climbing in great style. We arrived back at camp just before midnight and got in bed.

This morning we sipped coffee and enjoyed the views before breaking down camp and heading downhill.

Mt. Rainier: July 10, 2025 Update

The Four Day Climb led by RMI Guide Jack Delaney made a strong effort today, turning around at the top of Disappointment Cleaver due to high winds and a cloud cap over the summit.

The team is currently descending safely back to Camp Muir and will return to Rainier Basecamp in Ashford later this afternoon.

We’re proud of their resilience and smart decision-making in challenging conditions. Safety always comes first on the mountain!

Mt. Rainier: Climb for Clean Air Update

The ALA Climb for Clean Air Team made an incredible push up Mt. Rainier, reaching the top of Disappointment Cleaver before high winds and a summit cloud cap made it unsafe to continue.
