Mt. Rainier: Four Day Summit Climbs on the Summit!

Our Four Day Summit Climb teams led by RMI Guides Casey Grom and Kel Rossiter reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning just before 7 am PT. Casey reported a little breeze and a cloud cap but overall good conditions. The teams spent an hour in the summit crater and began their descent just after 9 am. The teams will return to Camp Muir and then continue down to Paradise. Congratulations to today's Summit Climbers and Happy Father's Day!

Mt. Rainier: June 20th Update

7:45 a.m. - The Four Day Summit Climb, led by Leon Davis and Mike Soucy, crested the summit rim of Mt. Rainier. Leon reported a nice day with light winds. Both teams began their descent just after 9:00 a.m.

Mt. Rainier: June 19th Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb, led by Seth Waterfall and Ben Liken, reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today. Seth reported a fair amount of wind and cool temperatures with clouds hanging around 9,000’. Both teams began their descent at 7:25 a.m.

Mt. Rainier: June 18th Update

Our Mount Rainier Summit Climb teams, led by Walter Hailes and Pete Van Deventer, were just reaching the summit at 7:10 a.m. Walter reported winds of about 20mph, cool temperatures, and they were just below the clouds hanging right above the summit. Both teams began their descent at 8:15 a.m. Elias deAndres Martos and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Kautz team checked in and were at 12,600’ working their way to the summit.

Mt. Rainier: June 17th Summit!

RMI Guide Solveig Waterfall and the Five-Day Mount Rainier Summit Climb, along with Tyler Reid and the Four-Day Summit Climb reached the summit this morning. They enjoyed light winds and clear skies. The teams spent some time celebrating and enjoying the views before starting their descent at 8:10 a.m. Today marks Solveig's 100th summit of Mount Rainier! Congratulations!

Mt. Rainier: June 16th Emmons and DC Summits!

RMI Guide Brent Okita and the Expedition Skills Seminar – Emmons Team reached the Summit of Mt. Rainier Early this morning via the Emmons Route. The team enjoyed beautiful weather this morning. They will descend back to Camp Schurman finish their week of training before returning to Rainier Basecamp Tomorrow. Our Four Day Summit Climb team Led by RMI Guide Casey Grom and 100% of the team reached the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning, they had great views and enjoyed the sun on the summit before starting their descent. Congratulations to Today's Teams!

Mt. Rainier: Climbing Teams on the Summit!

The Five Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide JJ Justman along with the Four Day Summit Climb led by Leon Davis reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. After spending some time on top enjoying the views both teams began their descent from the crater rim shortly after 7 AM. JJ reported that it was “an absolutely beautiful day”. Once the teams return to Camp Muir they will have a brief stop and then continue their descent to Paradise. We look forward to seeing them at Rainier BaseCamp later today. Congratulations to today's Summit Climb Teams!

Mt. Rainier: June 14th Summit!

RMI Guide Billy Nugent and team reached the Mount Rainier summit before 7:00 a.m. The weather was already quite warm and calm winds. After spending some time on top, including the last stretch to Columbia Crest, the team began their descent at 8:25 a.m.

It was an epic adventure. Thank you to Billy and team. You guys were amazing. Bridget was amazing to carry another team members backpack plus her own and all of you doing back to back trips to make this possible. This was a lot of work to get prepared for, but would not have been possible without your expertise!!! I am proud to say we went with RMI. A team of truly talented and amazing people. The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guides Casey Grom and Mike Soucy reached the Summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The Team reported strong winds, clouds and deteriorating weather. They have started their descent and are en route back to Camp Muir. Congratulations to Today's Team!
