RMI's Four Day Summit Climb teams September 1 - 4, 2014 reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning around 7:30 am. RMI Guide JJ Justman reported great views from the summit with calm winds and a very nice day. The teams were able to spend some time on the summit enjoying the views and crossing the crater to Columbia Crest. The teams began their descent around 8:30 and will return to Camp Muir before continuing down to Paradise. Congratulations to today's Summit Climb teams!

The Four Day Summit Climb August 23 - 26, 2014 Teams led by RMI Guides JJ Justman and Zeb Blais reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams reported sunny skies with some strong wind gusts and a possible cloud cap trying to form above the mountain. Both teams were able to enjoy some time on the summit before starting their descent. The teams will return to Camp Muir and then continue their descent to Paradise. We look forward to seeing them at Rainier BaseCamp in Ashford later this afternoon. Congratulations to today's Summit Climb teams!

The RMI Four- and Five-Day Mount Rainier summit climbs reached the summit this morning by 7:30 a.m. The weather was surprisingly cold, moderate winds and a cloud deck at 8,000'. At 8:35 a.m. the teams began their descent from the crater rim and will make their way to Camp Muir, Paradise and then their celebration awaits at Rainier Basecamp. The Four Day Summit Climb team led by RMI Guide JJ Justman along with the All Women's Team led by Lindsay Mann reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams delayed their departure from Camp Muir due to rain but once the rain dissipated they began their summit attempt. They were rewarded with great route conditions, light winds and clear skies above. The teams will spend some time on the summit before starting their descent to Camp Muir and then continuing down to Paradise later this afternoon. Congratulations to today's Summit Climb teams!

RMI Guide JJ Justman led the Four Day Summit Climb Team to the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning. The team reported beautiful weather and great route conditions. The team was climbing to raise money for Washington's National Park Fund, what a great way to honor our National Parks. Congratulations Team!

Our team left the Baksan Valley and the beautiful Caucasus Mountains and hopped a flight to Saint Petersburg. Yes!!! It's a St. Petersburg selfie!! Eat your heart out Ellen! That is the expression you have when you arrive in St. Petersburg. The team had a long day first driving to the airport and then flying to get here. And let me tell you...it is worth it. I love this city and I can't wait to share the sights with the team. It is a luxurious way to end our adventure in Russia. RMI Guide JJ Justman

Our team made the summit of Mt. Elbrus! It was an interesting weather day. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. The wind and the cold challenged everyone including myself. Our team did a fantastic job motivating each other and looking after one another. I was really proud to climb with all of them and they all deserve a huge congratulations! We are now safely down back in the ski town of Cheget. A well deserved rest after a good Russian meal is in store! RMI Guide JJ Justman
