Mt. Rainier: Four Day Summit Climb Team on Top!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Mike Walter reached the summit of Mt. Rainier shortly after 7:00 a.m. this morning. Mike reported sunny skies, a cloud deck at 9,000', and 15 mph winds. The team will spend some time on the summit celebrating before beginning their descent. We will see them back in Ashford this afternoon. Congratulations climbers!

Mt. Rainier: July 18th Five Day Summit Climb Summit!

The Five Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Steve Gately reached the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning. Because of weather the team did a "touch and go" summit. They have started their descent and are en route back to Camp Muir. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: July 18th Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Leon Davis reached the Crater Rim of Mt. Rainier early this morning. The weather did not allow for the team to spend very much time on top. They have started their descent are now en route to Camp Muir. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: July 17th Team Summits!

The Mt. Rainier Summit Climb team, led by Kel Rossiter, reached the summit at 6:00 a.m. The team was above the clouds, with the cloud deck hovering around 11,000ft. After spending an hour on top, they began their descent. Congratulations to today's climbers!

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Summit Climb Teams on the Summit

The Four Day Summit Climb Teams for July 13 - 16 led by RMI Guides Pete Van Deventer and Mike Haugen reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. They reported clear skies with winds around 20 mph and an over all great day. Both teams were beginning their descent from the crater rim around 7 am. Congratulations to today's climbers!

Mt. Rainier: Paradise Seminar Team Summits

The Expedition Skills Seminar - Paradise led by RMI Guide Mike King wrapped up their week of mountaineering training with a successful summit of Mt. Rainier. The team will descend off the mountain and be back in Ashford this afternoon to celebrate. Congratulations!

Mt. Rainier: Emmons Seminar Summits!

RMI Guide Zeb Blais led the Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons to the summit of Mt. Rainier yesterday morning. The team enjoyed sunny breezy conditions during their climb. After celebrating on the summit, the team descended to Camp Schurman for their final night on the mountain. Today the team will spend some time training as their descend to the White River Campground from Camp Schurman. We are excited to welcome them back to Ashford this afternoon. Congratulations!

Brent and Mike reported chilly and breezy conditions on the summit. The teams will spend some time on top before beginning their descent.
