The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Mike Haugen reached the summit of Mt. Rainier. Mike reported clear skies and 25 mph winds. The team has started their descent and are en route back to Camp Muir. Congratulations to today's team!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guides Seth Waterfall and Nick Hut reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The team reported clear skies and great climbing conditions. They were able to some time on top enjoying the views before starting their descent. Congratulations to today's teams!

Mt. Rainier: JJ Justman & Mike King Lead Their Teams to the Summit!

The Mt. Rainier Summit Climbs, led by JJ Justman and Mike King, reported a nice day with light wind, clear skies, and warm weather from the crater this morning. Both teams had a leisurely break after topping out at Columbia Crest. They left the crater to begin their decent just before 7:30am.

Mt. Rainier: Expedition Skills Seminar - Muir Reaches the Summit!

The Expedition Skills Seminar - Muir, led by RMI Guides Eric Frank and Adam Knoff, reached the summit at 7:30 this morning. Eric reported windy but clear weather. After spending some time on the top, the team began their descent and are currently around 13,500 feet. Yesterday the team had fun practicing crevasse rescue. Check out their photos below. Congratulations to the seminar teams!

Today’s Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guides Casey Grom and Geoff Schellens reached the summit of Mt. Rainier around 7:30 am. Casey reported winds up to 30 mph and clear skies. The teams will spend some time on the summit before beginning their descent. We look forward to seeing the teams in Ashford later today. Congratulations climbers!

The Four Day Summit Climb teams led by RMI Guides Jake Beren and Mike King reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams began their descent from the summit shortly after 8:30 a.m. They will descend to Camp Muir for a short break before continuing their descent to Paradise. We look forward to greeting them in Ashford later today. Congratulations Climbers!

RMI Guides Elias de Andres Martos and Ben Liken led the Expedition Skills Seminar - Muir to the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams reached the crater shortly before 8:00 a.m. Elias reported beautiful weather, a cloud deck at 7,500', chilly temperatures, and a light breeze. The team will spend a little time on the summit before beginning their descent to Camp Muir. The Seminar will spend tonight at Camp Muir and descend back to Ashford tomorrow. Congratulations to this week's seminar team!

The teams spent about an hour on the summit before beginning their descent just after 9:00 a.m. We look forward to seeing all of the climbers back in Ashford later today.

The teams only spent a short amount of time on the crater rim before starting their descent to Camp Muir. The teams will continue their descent to Paradise and return to Rainier BaseCamp later today.
