The Four Day Summit Climb July 29 - 1 August, 2011 has reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today. The team was led by Leon Davis who reported sunny skies, light wind and cold temperatures on the mountain today. The team was beginning their descent from the crater rim at 7:00 a.m. They will return to Camp Muir and then continue to Paradise this afternoon.
The Four Day Summit Climb July 28 - 31 led by Jason Thompson along with the Five Day Summit Climb July 28 - 1 August led by Linden Mallory reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today! The teams reported windy and cold conditions from the summit with a slight cloud cap descending on the mountain. They began their descent from the summit at 7:00 a.m. en route to Camp Muir and then will continue down to Paradise.

The Four Day Summit Climb July 27 - 30 led by Jake Beren and Gabriel Barral reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams were beginning their descent from the crater rim at 7:30 a.m. PT. They reported light to moderate winds, warm temperatures and clear skies. It's a beautiful day on Mt. Rainier.

Both summit climb groups led by Dave Hahn and Billy Nugent were leaving the top of the summit at 7:35 a.m. They had a beautiful climb this morning with sunny and clear skies, and moderate wind. They are back to Camp Muir and will descend to Paradise early afternoon.
The Four Day Summit Climbs led by Peter Whittaker, Ed Viesturs and Leon Davis reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning at 6:30 a.m. The teams reported a beautiful day up top: sunshine, clear skies and calm winds. The teams will return to Camp Muir and complete their descent to Paradise later today.
At 9:00 a.m., the Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons led by Pete Van Deventer also made the summit via the Emmons Route. They began their descent shortly after and will be descending back to Camp Schurman for the evening and returning to Rainier Basecamp tomorrow.
The Four Day Climb of Forbidden Peak in the North Cascades led by Andres Marin reached the summit yesterday and will descending to the trailhead this afternoon.

The Four Day Summit Climb July 24 - 27 led by Andy Bond and Mike Walter reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning at 7 a.m. The team reported cold temperatures and windy conditions. There is a cloud deck around 7,500' with clear skies above.
The Five Day Summit Climb July 23 - 27 led by Linden Mallory was also just approaching the crater rim at 7 a.m. this morning.
The Expedition Skills Seminar - Kautz July 23 - 28 led by Mike Haugen reached the summit at 8:30 a.m.

The Four Day Summit Climb July 23 - 26 reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The team reported light winds, clear skies above and cold temperatures. There is a cloud deck below at approximately 9,000'. The team will descend to Camp Muir and then continue down to Paradise this afternoon.

The Four Day Summit Climb July 22 - 25 led by Shawn Sears was forced to turn back today at approximately 13,000' due to poor visibility and high winds. The team will return to Camp Muir to rest and repack before continuing their descent to Camp Muir this afternoon.
The Five Day Summit Climb July 21 - 25 led by Dan Windham reached the summit of Mt. Rainier yesterday evening on a sunset climb. The team departed Camp Muir this morning en route to Paradise.
The weather report from Camp Muir this morning included rain and some thunder and lightening to the South East which was quickly moving out of the area.

Brent Okita and the Four Day Summit Climb made the summit this morning with clear skies and 20 mph winds. With such beautiful weather, the team reached the summit early and were already back to the top of Disappointment Cleaver (12,200') at 7:40 a.m.

The American Lung Association - Climb for Clean Air led by Win Whittaker and JJ Justman reached the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning. The team was greeted with crisp clear skies and calm winds.
