Mt. Rainier: August 31st Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Tyler Jones and Jess Matthews reached the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning. Tyler reported clear skies and light winds of about 20 mph. The team will spend some time on the summit enjoying the views before heading downhill. Congratulations to today's Team!

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Summit Climb Teams Turn Due to High Winds

The Four Day Summit Climb August 27 - 30 led by RMI Guides Geoff Schellens and Mike King were unable to reach the summit of Mt. Rainier today. The teams turned around at 12,700' due to high winds. The teams have returned safely to Camp Muir. They plan to start their descent to Paradise around 9:30 am PT.

Mt. Shuksan: Expedition Skills Seminar Reaches Summit!

The Expedition Skills Seminar - Shuksan led by RMI Guide Solveig Waterfall reached the summit of Mt. Shuksan this morning. Solveig reported warm, windy, clear, and smoky conditions from the summit. The team will descend back to camp for their remaining nights on the mountain. Congratulations to the Expedition Skills Seminar - Shuksan team!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guides Mike Walter and Caleb Laude reached 12,500' on Mt. Rainier this morning. The team spent some time watching the sunrise through the smoky haze at Ingraham Flats before heading back to Camp Muir. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: Five Day Summit Climb on Columbia Crest

The Five Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Hannah McGowan reached the summit of Mt. Rainier at 7:30 a.m. The team is celebrating under perfect conditions at Columbia Crest - the highest point on Mt. Rainier. After celebrating, the team will descend back to Camp Muir to rest and refuel before returning to Rainier Basecamp in Ashford later today. Congratulations to the Five Day Summit Climb!

At 7:13 a.m. the Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Dave Hahn reached Columbia Crest, the highest point on Mt. Rainier. Dave reported perfect conditions today. The team will spend some time on the summit celebrating before beginning their descent. We look forward to seeing them in Ashford this afternoon. Congratulations climbers!

Mt. Shuksan: Frank & Team Summit via the Fisher Chimneys

Hello, this is Eric Frank and team up on the North Side of Mt. Shuksan. I just wanted to send a quick note and let everyone know that we reached the summit this morning. It was a textbook climb in perfect weather conditions. We intend to descend to Lake Anne later this afternoon, and work our way out to the trailhead in the morning. RMI Guide Eric Frank

RMI Guide Casey Grom and the Four Day Summit Climb August 23 - 26 reached the summit of Mt. Rainier at 7 am today. It's a beautiful day with clear skies. The team enjoyed some time in the crater before starting their descent. After a brief stop at Camp Muir they will continue down to Paradise. Congratulations to today's Summit Climb Team!

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Teams on Columbia Crest!

RMI Guide Brent Okita checked in from Columbia Crest at 6:45 am today. The Four Day Summit Climb August 22 - 25 teams enjoyed a beautiful morning on their way to the summit crater of Mt. Rainier. They will spend some time soaking in the views before starting their descent. Once back at Camp Muir the teams will re-pack and continue to Paradise. Congratulations to today's climbers!
