Congratulations to RMI Guide
Dave Hahn and the Big City Mountaineers’ Summit for Someone team that reached the
Mt. Rainier summit! With good weather and route conditions, Dave and his team spent some time on top before starting their descent at 9:45 a.m. They are working their way back to Camp Muir and will finish their celebration of today's accomplishments at Rainier Basecamp this afternoon.
RMI Guides Win Whittaker and Seth Waterfall topped
Mt. Rainier in very calm winds and beautiful skies. The teams checked in at 7:15 a.m. and had already began their descent from the crater rim. With the cloud layer just below Paradise, they have been enjoying the view since sunrise and the weather should stay in their favor as the sun continues to shine upon them.

The
Four Day Summit Climb led by
RMI Guide Mike Walter reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning.
RMI Guide Brent Okita also led his team on the
Expedition Skills Seminar - Paradise to the summit. The teams reported clear skies and a beautiful day.
Both teams will descend to Camp Muir and then continue down to Paradise later this afternoon.

RMI Guides Peter Whittaker and
Ed Viesturs led a team of climbers to the summit of Mt. Rainier morning. The
Four Day Summit Climb July 23 - 26 led by RMI Guides Casey Grom and Lindsey Mann also reached the top today.
Both teams reported light winds and a beautiful day. The climbers will descend to Camp Muir and then continue down to Paradise later this afternoon.
In the
North Cascades, RMI Guides Andres Marin, Eric Frank and Geoff Schellens led their team to the summit of Forbidden Peak. All team members reached the summit yesterday. They will break camp and descend to the trail head today.

The
Four Day Summit Climb July 22 - 25 led by RMI Guides
Billy Nugent and
Elias de Andres Martos reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today. The team's reported great conditions, beautiful sunshine and light winds on top of Columbia Crest today.
The
Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons led by
Tyler Reid also reached the summit this morning. They had a spectacular climb and were spending some time on the summit before starting their descent. The team will spend their final night on the mountain at Camp Schurman and complete their walk out to the trail head tomorrow.
RMI Guide Jake Beren and his team reached the summit of Mt. Shuksan in Washington's North Cascades today. The team ascended via the Fisher Chimneys route.

Our
Four Day Summit Climb led by Dave Hahn and our
Five Day Summit Climb led by Mike Haugen reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today. The teams reported clear skies with lots of sunshine and very little wind. The teams were able to spend some time on the summit and are now en route to Camp Muir.

Four Day Summit Climb July 20 - 23 led by RMI Guide
Casey Grom reached the summit of Mt. Rainier at 7:30 a.m. PT. The teams reported sunny skies but cold temperatures and extreme winds. The teams will return to Camp Muir and then make their final descent to Paradise later today.

RMI Guide Seth Waterfall radioed in at 7:44 this morning reporting that both
Four Day Summit Climb teams were on the summit of Mt. Rainier. Seth reported high cirrus clouds, low valley fog, 35 mph SW winds, and good climbing conditions. The teams spent around a bit of time on the summit before leaving the crater rim just after 8:00am.
They will descend to Camp Muir and then continue their descent to Paradise later this afternoon.

Our Four Day Summit Climb teams led by Mike Walter and Elias de Andres Martos reached the summit of
Mt. Rainier at about 8 o'clock this morning. The teams had clear skies with a cloud deck at about 8,000' and moderate winds. They got to spend some time on the summit and are now making their way back to Camp Muir.

Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by RMI Guides
Win Whittaker and
Pete Van Deventer were unable to make their summit attempt due to lightening strikes and rain throughout the night. The teams stayed safely tucked in at Camp Muir. They will begin their descent to Paradise later this morning.

Congrats on the climb. D.H. you’re the energizer bunny of climbing. I can still see the poster of Everest you had in your dorm room and you saying it was a goal of yours. Few get to realize a dream, and that goes for the whole team. Somewhere out there you are inspiring someone. Don’t stop doing what you love.
