The
Mount Rainier Summit Climb, led by
Mike Walter, and the Expedition Skills Seminar – Paradise, led by
Leon Davis, crested the crater rim at 7:06 a.m. The teams reported a beautiful day with 10 mph winds. After spending over an hour on the summit, they began their descent.

RMI Guides Brent Okita and Mike King lead their Four Day Summit Climbs to the top of Mt. Rainier this morning. Brent reported nice conditions with a bit of wind on the summit.
Both teams began their descent from the crater rim a little after 7 am. They will return to Camp Muir and then continue their descent to Paradise. We look forward to seeing the teams at Rainier BaseCamp this afternoon.

On the Disappointment Cleaver route of Mt. Rainier, RMI Guides Seth and Solveig Waterfall led their
Four Day Summit Climb Teams to the summit this morning. Meanwhile on the Emmons Glacier route of Mt. Rainier, RMI Guide Mike Haugen led the
Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons to the summit this morning. All teams reported light winds and warm temperatures while on the summit. The Four Day Summit Climb teams will descend back to Camp Muir before returning to Paradise this afternoon and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons will descend to Camp Schurman for their final night on the mountain.

Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Walter Hails and the
Five Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Zeb Blais reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams enjoyed warm, sunny skies on the summit before beginning their descent around 7:30 am. We look forward to seeing the teams back in Ashford this afternoon.

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide
Jake Beren reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The team spent some time on the summit before starting their descent at 9:47am. Jake reported light winds and warm temps at the top of the mountain, with a cloud deck around 11,000'.

Pete Van Deventer, Sid Pattison and the Moondance Adventures Team reached the summit of
Mt. Rainier early this morning. The team was walking off the Crater Rim at 8:35 am. Pete & Sid reported light winds and light snow as they moved through the cloud cap at the top of the mountain.

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guides Tyler Jones and Mike Uchal reached the summit of Mt. Rainier around 5:45 this morning. The teams spend about an hour on the summit before beginning their descent. Tyler reported colder temperatures and breezy conditions on the summit. The teams are currently descending through warmer temperatures and clouds that reach down to around 12,000’. We look forward to seeing the teams when they return to Ashford this afternoon.

Expedition Skills Seminar – Paradise led by RMI Guide Eric Frank reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams reported warm weather and a cloud cap on the upper mountain. They are currently descending back to Camp Muir to refuel and repack before continuing down to Paradise. We look forward to seeing them in Ashford this afternoon.

The Expedition Skills Seminar - Kautz led by RMI Guide
Seth Waterfall reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning via the
Kautz route. Seth reported warm, sunny weather on the summit. The team will descend back to camp for their final night on the mountain before returning to Ashford tomorrow.
