Aconcagua: Hailes & Team Move to Guanacos Camp

We had a near perfect day to move up to Guanacos camp. It was a little cool as we started but turned out to be a sunny, calm day at camp. Everyone climbed strong to camp but I realized something much more important today. Our team is the best team on this mountain. Everyone in our group watches out for each other and not only pulls their own weight but is eager to do extra work for the team. There is nothing better than climbing with a group of great people. Amen to your comments on the best team, following your informative updates, I know you have the best team out there. The message comes through with each report.

A dear friend of mine once asked how do you recognize a good team member? With experience it does not take long to know, you see it and you feel it.

In the military they called it a skill that could not really be taught, it comes with the group.

Best wishes I hear there are a bottle(s) of wine waiting in Mendoza.

Great to hear you’re back on track to the top with less wind, good weather and everyone contributing to the success of the climb. Sounds like a great group. Bravo!
