Mt Rainier: Four Day Climb Enjoys Summit Success

The Four-Day climb led by RMI guide Nikki Champion enjoyed the summit of Mt Rainier this morning. They reported clear conditions and decreasing winds. They were leaving the crater at 7:22am and are on their descent back to Camp Muir. They will return to Ashford later this afternoon.

Mt Rainier: Five Day Climb Makes it to the Summit

RMI's five-day climb led by guide Dominic Cifelli made it to the summit of Mt Rainier this morning around 6:30am! They reported high winds but blue skies. They left the crater around 7:15am and are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir. They will return to Ashford this afternoon.

The four-day climb led by RMI guides Joe Hoch and Jackson Breen reached the summit of Mt Rainier this morning around 6:30am. They reported cold temperatures and moderate winds. They are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir and will return to Ashford this afternoon.

Congratulations to all! These pictures are fabulous. Meeting you all 1.5 miles up the trail on your way down so our girls could congratulate their dad on his summit meant the world to all of us!!

RMI's four-day climb led by guides Henry Coppolillo and Sam Hoffman reached this summit of Mt Rainier this morning around 5:15am. They reported cold temperatures and moderate winds. They are currently on their descent back to Camp Muir and will return to Ashford this afternoon.

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Teams Reach Summit with Wittmier & Hedreen

The Four Day Climb teams June 29 - 2 July led by RMI Guides Dustin Wittmier & George Hedreen reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today after 6 am.  The teams enjoyed some time in the crater, crossing to the true summit, before beginning their descent from the crater rim.  The teams will return to Camp Muir for a short break before continuing down to Paradise later today.  They will conclude their program with a short ceremony later today.

Mt Rainier: Four Day Climb Turns Around at Ingraham Flats due to Route Conditions

The four-day climb led by RMI Guide Joe Hoch turned around at Ingraham Flats this morning due to unfit route conditions. They have returned to Camp Muir and will descend to Paradise later this morning. While they didn't make it to the summit, they enjoyed a classic Little Tahoma sunrise!

MT Rainier: Four Day Climb Stayed at Muir Due to Heavy Wind & Snow

The four-day climb stayed at Camp Muir today and were unable to climb due to heavy snow and wind. Gusts were nearly 60 miles per hour overnight.

RMI Teams led by guides Dustin Wittmier and Tom Skoog made it to the top of Mt Rainier this morning around 6:15am. After several days of extremely high winds, they reported light winds and nice temperatures. They will return to Ashford this afternoon.

Mt Rainier: Four Day Climb Turns at 11,500’ Due to Route Conditions

RMI teams led by guides Henry Coppolillo and Nick Sinapius attempted to summit Mt Rainier this morning, but turned around at 11,500', just above Ingraham Flats due to deteriorating route conditions.They returned to Camp Muir and are on their descent back to Paradise. They will be back in Ashford this afternoon.

The Four-Day Climb (June 5 - 8) led by Dave Hahn and George Hedreen turned at 13,300' today due to deteriorating weather. They will be back in Ashford this afternoon.
