Mt. Rainier: June 19th Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb, led by Seth Waterfall and Ben Liken, reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today. Seth reported a fair amount of wind and cool temperatures with clouds hanging around 9,000’. Both teams began their descent at 7:25 a.m.

Seth, Bridgette and Blake, Thank you so much for such an incredible experience. That sunrise was beautiful and finally reaching the summit will always be part of who I am. Thank you for your professionalism, camaraderie and humor. I’ll be taking some ibuprofen now and sleeping for the next 12 hours. All the best to you all and Bridgette, it was an ice sculpture! Ben- thank you so much for getting my dad down the mountain! I had a heart attack when I found out he couldn’t see the entire way down. Thank you so much for getting him home safely!
