Hey there!
Our Mt. Baker - Easton Glacier team is on the summit. It has been a chilly day but all is good. Clouds are rolling in and it was quite smokey. We are heading down now and will return to Camp for a final night on the mountain. Tomorrow morning after packing up camp, we will head down to the trail head.

RMI Guide James Bealer led his team to the summit of Mt. Baker this morning! The route was steep and icy making for a challenging day but everyone was up to the task. They are four days into their six-day program where they are also receiving their credentials for the Leave No Trace Master Educator Course.

The Expedition Skills Seminar, led by RMI Guide Andy Bond, spent six days in the North Cascades. They had a tremendous time learning mountaineering skills and to top it off, reached the summits of Mt. Shuksan and Mt. Baker! The team is currently on their descent to the trailhead where they will celebrate together before departing for home.

We had a short day getting to our camp at Lake Ann on Tuesday. The Fisher Chimneys were too wet for us to ascend any higher. So we woke up early to make our attempt at the summit. Starting in the dark and ending in the dark meant we had a very long and very hard but successful summit day yesterday. Today we will descend to the trail head and complete our program.

RMI Guide Avery Parrinello and the Mt. Shuksan Sulphide Glacier August 16 - 19 team reached the summit of Mt. Shuksan yesterday. Avery reported they had a beautiful summit day and had safely returned to camp for the evening. Today the team will break camp and continue down to the trail head concluding their program.

RMI's Mt. Baker Easton Glacier August 16 - 18 team reached the summit of Mt. Baker this morning led by RMI Guides Grayson Swingle, David Price and Tatum Whatford. Grayson and team reached the summit at 7 AM PT and reported that it was a beautiful morning to be on the mountain. Once they have taken all the hero shot photos and enjoyed the views, they will return to camp to breakdown tents and repack. They will continue out to the trail head later today completing their program.

RMI Guide Grayson Swingle and his Mt. Baker team all reached the summit this morning! They will descend from the mountain today.

RMI Guide Ben Ammon led a small group of climbers on a quick ascent of Mt. Baker via the Easton Glacier. This strong and quick team reached the summit of Mt. Baker today and made a complete descent. They have now completed their program.

The Mt. Baker - Easton Glacier August 3 - 5 team reached the summit of Mt. Baker today around 10 am. Along with training and preparing for this climb, this team is part of the American Lung Association Climb for Clean Air raising money for the cause. We are excited to report that all team members reached the summit today led by RMI Guides James Bealer, David Price and Abby Westling. They will return to camp on the mountain for a final night. Tomorrow they will walk out to the trail and conclude their program with a small celebration.

The Mt. Shuksan - Sulphide Glacier August 2 - 5 team reached the summit of Mt. Shuksan today led by RMI Guides Hannah Smith, Henry Coppolillo and Seth Burns.
Hannah reported that the team was having a great day on the mountain with very few climbers on the route and fairly clear skies. The team will return to camp for their final night on the mountain and walk out to the trailhead tomorrow to conclude their programs.
