Alaska Seminar: First Day on the Kahiltna

Hello from the Kahiltna Glacier!  We woke to frigid temperatures on our first morning, with the temperatures reaching negative 25 F. Thankfully the sun came out to play and things quickly warmed up for us. We enjoyed our first day exploring the SE fork of the Kahiltna Glacier.

Everyone is doing great. We’ll check in soon.

Good Morning, Sweetheart…(Anthony)! It’s just me again! Can you tell I’m missing you!?? I am hoping that you are staying warm up there and enjoying the scenery! All is good here - cooler temps today. Was missing your Mojitos for Cinco de Mayo yesterday! Perhaps once you return! I.L.Y-BIG KISSES!

Hi Brandi, minus 25 sounds pretty chilly so I am sure that you are really looking forward to coming back to a balmy 98 degrees here in Bangalore!  Miss you, kuessi.

Hi, Brady.  We miss you bunches, but we hope you are having fun playing in the crevasses :)
Dylan played an amazing game today and everyone was asking about you.  He is taking his man of the house role very seriously.  Ellie keeps trying to text you despite repeated reminders that you won’t get them, but she misses you so much.  Bad news…we accidentally sold your bike at the yard sale today.  We will buy you a shiny new one at Walmart, so no worries.  We are counting the days and can’t wait til you get home.  Phillies lost today 7-1.
