The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Brent Okita reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. Brent and team were above the clouds with clear skies. The started their descent at 7:45 am and are on their way back to Camp Muir. Congratulations to today's team!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Brent Okita reached the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning. Brent reported a gorgeous day of climbing with light winds. The team has started their descent and will be back at Ashford Basecamp this afternoon. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: Brent Okita & Team Summit!

This morning RMI Guide Brent Okita led his team to the Mt. Rainier summit. With a forecasted freezing level over 15,000' and sunny skies, the team began their ascent from Camp Muir in the early morning hours. After spending some time on the top, the team began their descent at 6:40 a.m. Congratulations to Brent and his team!

Mt. Rainier: July 21st Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb Led by RMI Guides Brent Okita and Zeb Blais reached the summit of Mt. Rainier Early this morning. The team climbed into a cap with 30 mph winds. They spent a brief time on the top before starting their descent. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: July 13th Summit!

Climbers on the Four Day Summit Climb teams led by RMI Guides Brent Okita and Mike Uchal reached the summit crater of Mt. Rainier at 6:45 a.m. PDT. Brent and Mike reported chilly and breezy conditions on the summit. The teams will spend some time on top before beginning their descent. We look forward to welcoming the climbers back to Ashford this afternoon. Congratulations!

Team 911,,let me race gates under chair 4,,&& will never forget wheels/ yelled-(Spud Did It For The Team!!  You & Julie invited to have super hot cocoa @ that time Up on Gold Hill! Mt. Rainier: July 9th Update

Due to avalanche hazard, the summit climb teams, led by Brent Okita and Mike Uchal, were unable to summit Mt. Rainier this morning. Both teams topped out at 12,800,’ and are headed back down to Camp Muir. We look forward to seeing the teams back in Ashford this afternoon.

RMI Guide Steve Gately radioed in from the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams enjoyed a beautiful morning with light winds. At 7:00 am PT both Four Day Summit Climb teams June 28 - 1 July, 2016 were beginning their descent from the crater rim.

The Mt. Rainier Summit Climb teams, led by RMI Guides Brent Okita and Zeb Blais, reached the top this morning. Winds were in the 10-15 mph range and beautiful, sunny skies. After spending some time on the summit, the teams began their descent at 7:00 a.m.

RMI Guide Brent Okita led the Four Day Summit Climb to the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. Brent reported increasing winds speeds from light winds on their ascent to windy conditions on the summit. The team started their descent shortly before 8:30 a.m. We look forward to greeting the team in Ashford later this afternoon. Congratulations climbers!

The summit climb teams, led by Brent Okita and JJ Justman, tagged the top of Mt. Rainier at 7:35am this morning. They reported winds about 25 mph, a bit chilly, and a cloud cap forming. Both teams began their descent at 8:20 a.m. Congratulations to today's teams!
