The Four Day Summit Climbs led by Geoff Schellens, Brent Okita, and Gabriel Barral reached Columbia Crest today at 7:09 am. The teams reported light winds (10-20mph) and blue skies. They began making their descent to Camp Muir at 8 o’clock.

Our Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by Casey Grom and Billy Nugent stood on the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. It was breezy cold morning but clear. All nine members of Casey's team made it to the summit. Both teams are doing well and have started their descent back to Camp Muir.

The Mt. Rainier Four Day Summit Climb led by Pete Van Deventer radioed from the summit at 7:20 a.m. They crested the summit just before 7 a.m. with clear blue skies and calm winds in the crater. It's a gorgeous day on Mt. Rainier! After spending some time enjoying the magnificent views, the teams will begin their descent back to Paradise.
Seth Waterfall and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons team checked in from Camp Schurman. The entire team reached the summit yesterday. They spent almost the entire previous night battling a tough storm, but the team managed to overcome the challenge and enjoyed a beautiful climb of the Emmons Glacier. Today they will descend down the White River valley for the final leg of their trip.

The Four Day Summit Climb August 20 - 23 led by RMI Guides Dave Hahn and Jake Beren reached the top of Mt. Rainier today! They experienced very high winds with a cloud cap on top of the mountain. The teams began their descent from the crater rim a little after 9:00 a.m. PT.
RMI Guide Seth Waterfall and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons will continue training today. Due to high winds and heavy rain last night the team will postpone their summit attempt until tomorrow morning.

The Four Day Summit Climb August 19 - 22 led by RMI Guide Brent Okita reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today! Brent reported strong winds and a change in the weather as the team made their ascent today. They spent a little time on top before beginning their descent around 7:30 a.m. PT. The team will return to Camp Muir and then continue their descent to Paradise this afternoon.

The Four Day Summit Climb August 18 - 21 led by RMI Guide Dan Windham reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today with 100% of their team. They reported clear, sunny skies, warm temperatures, and light wind. The team began their descent from the crater rim at 6:56 a.m.
The Five Day Summit Climb climb August 18 - 22 led by J.J. Justman arrived atop the crater rim at 7:53am. J.J. reported warm weather, no wind, and a weather change to the North. The team will spend some time on the summit before returning to Camp Muir to enjoy their final night on the mountain. They will descend to Paradise tomorrow afternoon.

Blue skies and calm winds greeted our Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by Jason Thompson and Pete Van Deventer. The teams enjoyed the views from the Summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning and are now en-route back to Camp Muir.

The Four Day Summit Climb August 15 - 18 led by RMI Guide Leon Davis reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning! The teams reported cool temperatures, light winds and a great day on the mountain. They were beginning their descent from the crater rim at 7:45 a.m. PT. The teams will return to Camp Muir and then continue their descent to Paradise this afternoon.
RMI Guide Casey Grom led the Five Day Emmons Glacier Climb to the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. All of the team members reached the summit. The team will descend to Camp Schurman for their final night on the mountain.

The Five Day Summit Climb August 13 - 17 and the Four Day Summit Climb August 14 - 17 both reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The teams, led by RMI Guides Dan Windham and J.J. Justman, reported beautiful climbing conditions with light winds on the summit. They were beginning their descent from the crater rim shortly after 7 a.m. PT.
