RMI Guide Casey Grom led our summit climb teams to the top of Mt. Rainier this morning. The temperature is warm, the skies are clear and the winds are calm. What a day to be standing on the highest point in Washington!
The teams began their descent back to Camp Muir at 7:25 a.m. Congratulations to today's teams!
Our Four Day Summit climb teams led by JJ Justman and Billy Nugent stood on the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. The Teams were able to spend some time on the summit as the winds were calm and skies were clear. They have started their descent and are on the way back to Camp Muir.

The Four Day Summit Climb August 30 - 2 September led by RMI Guides Chad Peele and Andy Bond were unable to reach the summit of Mt. Rainier. The teams were forced to turn around at approximately 12,100' today due to very high winds and returned to Camp Muir safely. As of 7:00 a.m. PT strong winds were still gusting at Camp Muir. The teams are expected to depart from Camp Muir at 10 a.m. PT en route to Paradise.
The Four Day Summit Climb August 29 - 1 September led by RMI Guides Brent Okita and Pete Van Deventer reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today. The teams reported cold temperatures with clear skies and moderate winds during their climb. They will return to Camp Muir and continue their descent to Paradise later this afternoon.

The Four Day Summit Climbs August 28 - 31 led by RMI Guides Dave Hahn and Tyler Jones reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today! The teams reported they were climbing in their down parkas due to the cold temperatures this morning. They had good visibility with a broken cloud layer above at approximately 16,000' and light winds throughout their summit climb. Both teams will descend to Camp Muir and return to Paradise later this afternoon.

The Four Day Summit Climb August 27 - 30 led by RMI Guide Seth Waterfall reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today! The teams were approaching the crater rim just after 7:00 a.m. PT. They reported clear skies above 7,500' with light winds. The teams will spend some time on top before starting their descent back to Camp Muir. They will return to Paradise later this afternoon.

RMI Guides Jake Beren and Tyler Reid led the Four Day Summit Climb to the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. It was a nice day on top and the teams began their descent at 7:50 a.m.

Our Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by Tyler Jones and Leon Davis reached the summit of Mt. Rainier today. According to RMI Guide Tyler Jones: "The weather is warm, we are wearing two light layers, winds are calm, and it's sunny and beautiful." The teams are doing well and have started their descent back to Camp Muir.

The Four Day Summit Climbs led by Geoff Schellens, Brent Okita, and Gabriel Barral reached Columbia Crest today at 7:09 am. The teams reported light winds (10-20mph) and blue skies. They began making their descent to Camp Muir at 8 o’clock.
