Mt. McKinley: Knoff & Team Ready for the Kahiltna Glacier!

June 19, 2014 - 11:24 am PT The team spent yesterday packing, chatting and organizing food. Today we arrived at the hangar and we're told to stand by...a few hours later we are still standing by but are loading are bags onto planes and got the go ahead to change into climbing clothes. Hopefully, we will be loading the planes shortly and our next correspondence will be sent from the Kahiltna Glacier! RMI Guide Adam Knoff

Mt. McKinley: Adam Knoff & Team Arive in Talkeetna

June 18, 2014 - 3:00pm PT RMI Guides Adam Knoff, Lindsay Mann, Andy Hildebrand and Team have arrived in Talkeetna, AK to start their 2014 Mt. McKinley Expedition. Everything is going as planned for the team. They have completed their equipment check, met with the National Park Service and with good luck plan to fly onto the Kahiltna Glacier tomorrow. Mt. Rainier: June 9th Four Day Summit Climb Reaches Summit

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Tyler Reid was able to reach the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. Strong winds kept the group from spending much time on top. As of 7:15 am they were at 12,900' on their descent. The group will take a short rest at Camp Muir before continuing down to Paradise later today. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: May 22nd Summit - 100% on Top

The RMI Expedition Skills Seminar - Muir led by Casey Grom and Elias de Andres Martos reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning with 100% of their team! The team reported great climbing conditions and clear skies. The are currently back at Camp Muir where they will spend another night on the mountain and complete their skills training before making their way back to Ashford Basecamp on Friday afternoon. Congratulations to Today's Team!

Mt. Rainier: May 17th Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Casey Grom reached the summit of Mt. Rainier early this morning. They are in the clouds with snow showers off and on and winds of about 10 mph. The will keep their visit to the top short and will be descending back Camp Muir. Congratulations to Today's Team!

Mt. Rainier: August 19th Team Summits!

The Four Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Pete Van Deventer braved the winds to reach the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. After a short rest on the summit, the team began their descent shortly before 8 am. They will return to Camp Muir to refuel before descending to Paradise later today. We look forward to their arrival in Ashford this afternoon. Congratulations climbers! RMI Guide Eric Frank and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons continue to spend their days training. Today the team moves from their camp on the Inter Glacier to Camp Schurman in preparation for their summit attempt.

Mt. Rainier: June 21, 2013 SUMMIT!

The Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by RMI Guides Adam Knoff and Solveig Waterfall reached the Summit of Mt. Rainier today. The teams reported clear weather with a cap on the summit, and the new route via Camp Comfort great to climb. The teams spent some time on the summit and are now en route to Camp Muir. Congratulations to today's teams!

Mt.Rainier: Four & Five Day Climbs Summit

The Four Day Summit Climb led by Brent Okita and the Five Day Summit Climb led by Tyler Reid both reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning just after 7 am PT. Brent reported beautiful weather - bluebird skies without any wind. The low marine layer of clouds we are experiencing in Ashford tops out around 6,000' -7,000’. The teams started their descent around 8:30 en route to Camp Muir. They will take a break there before continuing their descent to Paradise. Congratulations to today's teams!
